(NPR/WBUR) "Russian studies used to be a much more robust field in the United States compared to today. Interest took a sharp decline after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.
But now, as political tensions are on the rise between the two countries, interest in Russia at universities in the U.S. is also on the rise.
